Search by name, area, or curriculum. Premium tier first — the four schools most parents shortlist — then established and specialist. Highgate is up top because it's the news; the rest are listed by editorial weight, not by ranking.

Four rules. Applied to every school.

Most "best schools in Pattaya" articles online are press releases dressed up as reviews — same five names, same affiliate links, same brochure prose. This site exists to be the opposite of that. Four rules apply to every school in the directory, and a school can fall off the list if it stops meeting them.

01
// Anonymous visit

No school knows we're coming.

We tour campuses as parents would — booking through the public admissions form, asking the same questions, sitting through the same pitch. No press passes. No "blogger" discount. What you read is what a real parent gets.

02
// Real tuition

Every fee, year by year.

Annual tuition in THB. Registration. Building fund. Refundable deposit. Bus, lunch, uniform. The total a family actually pays — not the headline number a brochure prints. Stamped with the verification date and refreshed each term.

03
// Honest take

Strengths AND weaknesses.

Every school is good at something and worse at something else. We write both. The school strong at IB but light on sports gets that said. The one that's beautiful but ฿200K over the local average gets that said too.

04
// 0 paid placements

No "featured school" tier.

No school can pay to climb the rankings. No school can pay to be listed. No sponsored tags. No affiliate links to admissions consultants. The directory ranks the way a friend ranks — by which school fits which family.

// 03 · Frequently asked

Straight answers.

Six questions parents ask before they trust us. Real answers — no "depends on the school," no small print.

Are you affiliated with any of the schools?

No. We're not owned by a school, an admissions consultant, or a parent-Facebook-group operator. The site is run by Pattaya Authority, a Pattaya web studio that operates seven other editorial properties in the city. Schools don't pay us. Ever.

Why don't you rank the schools 1–10?

Because the "best" school depends on your child. A student who thrives at Regents' IB rigour would struggle in a project-based American programme, and vice versa. We rank by fit, not by quality. Every editorial has a "Best for:" line that names the family the school actually suits.

How do you verify tuition fees if schools don't publish them?

Three ways: we request the fee sheet through the school's public admissions form (as any parent would), we cross-check with the most recent fee circular issued to current parents, and we publish the year the figure was verified next to every number. If we couldn't verify it, we don't print it.

How often is the directory updated?

Every academic term. Fees change at the start of each year, accreditations renew on their own cycles, and schools occasionally close or rebrand. We re-verify every school's data each term and stamp the page with the verification date. Closed schools are archived, not silently removed.

Do you cover Thai-only schools?

No. Our focus is international schools (English-medium, IB / British / American / Australian curriculum) and premium Thai-bilingual programmes. Pure Thai-curriculum schools are outside our scope.

I run a school you missed. How do I get listed?

Email hello@pattayaschoolguide.com with your school's name, address, curriculum, and accreditations. We'll add you to the next anonymous-visit cycle. Note: a listing isn't a positive review. We'll write what we find, weaknesses and all.

Hand-checked.
Honestly written.
Always free.

We started this directory because we couldn't find one ourselves. Every entry is a hand-written editorial about a real visit, a real fee sheet, a real conversation with the admissions team. Maintained, not abandoned.
